Serving Seattle's entire metropolitan area as The Color Coach, Cheryl Michaels’ early career was in sales, merchandising and management in designer departments at Nordstrom.  Color was fundamental in creating “notice me” merchandise displays as well as eye catching, high fashion wardrobes.

Color and texture are the two most important aspects of an enchanting garden or landscape.  To further her knowledge and expertise, she took her fascination with nature’s paint box to Cornish College of the Arts where she excelled in her studies of color, design theory and interior applications for one full year.  She has also been personally trained and licensed by Paula DeMars, founder of The Color Coach system.
